God is doing something new in me....

....giving me a greater desire than ever to spend time with sisters in the Lord.  I am feeling almost passionate about it since the retreat a few weeks ago.

I am working on a plan to get together with someone every day.  Today, for example, I had Monique and little Joseph Delee over for a soup and salad lunch.  Monique put in a load of laundry (they are redoing their laundry room and don't have washer or dryer hooked up at the moment), and we talked over lunch.  It was really nice to be able to visit and share about a few things going on in our lives.  Tomorrow, I will get together with some stay-at-home moms for a little play group and visit, and tomorrow night, I am learning to make hummus with Sheila P and Liz B, who are coming over for dinner.  On Friday I am meeting some women for breakfast/coffee.  All these things are woven with baby care, laundry and dishes and ordinary events of the day, and add so much  joy to my days.  And, it really helps the relationships with them to have more regular ongoing contact with these women.

I am thankful for this increasing desire and pray that the Lord pours out even MORE of it on me, and those around me.
